Waterstone's are currently doing three-for-two on all science fiction, fantasy, horror and spinoffery. It is amazing how little of it I have any inclination to buy. I did pick up Newton's Wake by Ken MacLeod but this merely confirmed to me that he is a one trick pony who is now long past his sell-by date.
